Snow started falling just in time for the morning commute Monday. 

School closings

Lewis-Palmer District 38 is closed Monday, along with a few private and charter schools. Tap here for a full list of closings and delays

Accident Alert

The Fountain Police Department is on cold reporting. If you are involved in a crash that meets the following conditions, you should exchange your information with the other drivers and complete a cold report within 72 hours.

– No fatalities or injuries.

– No driver or passenger is suspected of driving under the influence.

– All drivers are present with license, registration, and insurance information.

– No damage to public property, such as a street sign or utility pole, has occurred.

In Fountain, go to the Fountain Police Department, any state patrol office, or colorado.gov/pacific/csp/crash-information .

Forecast

Condtions will improve this afternoon and temperatures will remain cold, nearly steady with 20s and 30s.

TONIGHT: Any remaining snow ends and the clouds clear with a very cold night ahead as we drop into the single digits above and below zero.
