All Woodland Park School District schools will be closed Thursday, Mar. 1 as the investigation continues into a credible threat directed at the high school, district officials announced on Wednesday. The closure includes all school athletics and activities.
“There is no indication that this threat involves any other part of our community,” district officials said in a Facebook post. “As always, student and staff safety remains a top priority for our district.”
All lost educational time will be made up through extending the school day and/or adding days to the school year.
Anyone with information leading to the identification of the person responsible for the threat is asked to call the Woodland Park Police Department at 719-687-9262 or Safe2Tell at 1-877-542-7233.
