Weber Park neighborhood in Park County evacuated

PARK COUNTY, Colo. — There is a 150 acre fire burning in Park County near Lake George.

The fire started in Park County, off Forest Service Road 230 and Park County Rd, west of Lake George, Colo.

There are structures threatened so two subdivisions Weber Park area have been evacuated.

Forest Service Roads 227, 231 and County Roads 31 and 44 have also been evacuated and are currently closed, as of Sunday evening.

It has been named the Thorpe Fire.

Nearby Teller County is monitoring the fire closely.
