DENVER (KDVR) — Aviation officials issued a ground stop at Denver International Airport on Wednesday afternoon because of a power outage in the terminal.
The airport said about 4 p.m. that the FAA had lifted the ground stop and power had been fully restored.
The airport said that flights that were in the air at the time of the outage were still able to land, but flights coming to Denver that hadn’t taken off yet were held.
Flights leaving Denver were able to take off. But because of the incoming delays, outgoing flights could be impacted.
The airport tweeted about the outage about 2:30 p.m.
