FLORISSANT, Colo.– The Teller County Sheriff’s Office says a fire has been contained near Lake George in Florissant.
The fire was first spotted around 1 p.m. Tuesday on the northwest side of the Florissant Fossil Beds, south of the lake. It was contained to about an acre of grassland and trees.
