EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. — The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office (EPSO) were called out to Widefield Drive, near Dartmouth Street, Tuesday afternoon after they received a call from a man who said he’d been shot and was bleeding.
According to officers, when EPSO arrived on scene and located the caller, he previously reported the suspect was still in the home while he was able to escape. Officers say the man had a “minor abrasion similar to a paper cut,” on his forehead.
EPSO says there was no evidence of a shooting, no gun nor blood was found at the scene.
Two people on scene were arrested for outstanding warrants unrelated to incident.
