Pueblo South girls basketball returned to the 4A state championship for the third straight year on Saturday at the Denver Coliseum.
Mullen, the 14-seed, beat the four-seed Colts 63-44. The game marked head coach Shannan Lane’s last game at the helm of the Pueblo South program. Lane spent several years on the coaching staff of Pueblo South, her alma mater, including 11 years as head coach.
