Colorado Springs golfer competes at Drive, Chip, and Putt National Finals

Grady Ortiz tied for fifth in the 7-9 boys division

AUGUSTA, Ga. - On the eve of the Masters Tournament, one local golfer is already playing on the links at Augusta National.

Colorado Springs native Grady Ortiz placed fifth in the 7-9 boys division of the Drive, Chip, and Putt National Finals Sunday afternoon.

He was one of 10 in his division to earn the honor to play. Grady said he started playing golf at age 2, when his grandfather introduced him to the game.
