Cities

Colorado Springs is not under any burn restrictions as of July 27.


Pueblo is not under any fire restrictions as of July 24. 


Woodland Park is under an emergency fire ban as of July 3. More information

The following activities are prohibited: 

- Campfires and recreational fires
- Fireworks
- Outdoor charcoal grills, propane and natural gas grills, propane and natural gas patio heaters, gas stoves, lanterns, smokers, pellet stoves, propane and natural gas-fueled warming fires, pellet stoves, and electical stoves (except when used by licensed and registered food vendors)
- Burning trash, debris, fence rows, or vegetation
- Smoking except within an enclosed vehicle, trailer, or non-commercial building
- Operating any internal combustion engine, including chainsaws, lawnmowers, generators, and ATVs, unless it has a spark arrestor
- Outdoor welding


Cañon City is under a stage one fire restriction as of July 23. More information


Counties

El Paso County is not under any fire restrictions as of July 30.


Pueblo County is not under any fire restrictions as of July 24.


Teller County is under a stage one fire ban as of July 26. More information

The following activities are prohibited: 

- Open burning, including campfires and warming fires
- Explosives
- Model rockets
- Fireworks
- Prescribed burning of fence rows, fields, wildlands, trash, and debris
- Burning trash, which is prohibited whether there's a fire ban or not
- Burning irrigation ditches, except ditches within and completely surrounded by irrigated farmlands

The following are still allowed: 

- Gas, liquid, and propane barbecues
- Charcoal grill fires, charcoal-burning appliances, brick and mortar fire pits, and fire grates in developed picnic grounds and campgrounds
- Gas stoves and lanterns
- Chainsaws and welding
- Fires in fireplaces within buildings
- Fused explosives on mining property
- Smoking


Fremont County is under a stage two fire ban as of June 12. More information


Federal Lands

The Pike National Forest is not currently under fire restrictions.

The San Isabel National Forest is not currently under fire restrictions. 


The San Juan National Forest has implemented fire restrictions. More information
