CSPD searches for witnesses to Aug. 14 Memorial Park vandalism

UPDATE: CSPD has released a video that shows two people officers believe may have witnessed the Aug. 14 vandalism at Memorial Park.

Two women can be seen walking near the area around the time police say the monuments were damaged.

ORIGINAL: COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Pikes Peak Area Crime Stoppers is now offering a $1,000 reward for information for the arrest and conviction of the individuals who vandalized the monuments in Colorado Springs Memorial Park on Saturday, Aug. 14.

“L+M” and curse words can be seen painted on the monument.
