The Douglas County Coroner has released the autopsy report on slain Douglas County Deputy Zackari Parrish.
According to the report, the 29-year-old deputy, who was wearing a bulletproof vest, was shot 11 times, including shots to the head and chin.
The report documented several through-and-through gunshots to the chest and abdomen area.
Deputy Parrish was killed New Year’s Eve while trying to place a man on a mental health hold.
