DENVER, Colo. — Two sisters, one who worked in Denver, have been found dead while on vacation just days before they were scheduled to come home.

Police say 38-year-old Annie Korkki and 42-year-old Robin Korkki were found unresponsive in their villa at a luxury resort off the east African coast.

Police say “early examinations” of their bodies show no signs of violence.

African authorities are in contact with the U.S. Embassy and the investigation is ongoing while police await autopsy results.

The family has set up a memorial fund for the sisters here.
