KOAT, a news station in Albuquerque recently had a handful of men volunteer to have their beards swabbed and tested.
KOAT’s results were hair-raising and might change your opinion of men with beards.
Tests revealed that some men’s beards are “as dirty as a toilet.”
Several of the beards tested contained normal bacteria, according to KOAT.
Others tested for fecal matter, making them literally “as dirty as a toilet.”
