Kids from across southern Colorado took part in the Royal Gorge Dinosaur Experience Stomp and Chomp Sunday.
The family-friendly event included a costume contest and trick-or-treating.
“They have to use their imaginations to really picture dinosaurs, and so kids love to do that with costumes too,” museum owner Zach Reynolds said. “When they put a costume on, they really become part of their costume, and get to live and act it out. So we think it’s a great combination that goes together really well.”
The museum also held a dog and cat food drive to benefit the local humane society.
