PUEBLO COUNTY, Colo. — A Pueblo County marijuana shop is under investigation after employees were caught selling marijuana to a person under age 21.
The violation happened at Strawberry Fields on Interstate 25. The Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office said three store employees were issued a court summons. A notice of the violation will also be forwarded to the state licensing board.
The bust came during a sting operation conducted by Pueblo County deputies, Pueblo police, and the Pueblo County Marijuana Compliance Inspector. Authorities conducted the sting because they’d gotten several complaints about stores selling marijuana to minors, according to the sheriff’s office.
No other violations were found during the sting, which was conducted at eight stores.
