A Westcliffe man was killed in a crash on Highway 96 Tuesday evening, according to the Colorado State Patrol.
The crash happened around 9 p.m. about 11 miles east of Westcliffe. Troopers said a Dodge Ram was headed westbound when it went off the road and hit two delineator posts. It then went back across the road, rolled four times, and hit a fence.
The driver, 30-year-old Jacob Schulze, was ejected and died on the scene. He was not wearing his seatbelt.
Troopers said alcohol and speed are considered factors in the crash.
