Two people were seriously injured in a head-on crash on Highway 115 in Fremont County Monday morning.
Troopers said the crash happened about four miles west of Florence. A Ford F-150 was headed northbound, and a Dodge Ram 1500 was headed southbound. As the two trucks were rounding a curve, the Ford went into the oncoming lane and crashed head-on into the Dodge.
The driver of the Ford, 68-year-old David Jimenez of Florence, and the driver of the Dodge, 33-year-old Nicole Watkins-Varao of Williamsburg, were both hospitalized with serious injuries. Troopers said both drivers were wearing their seatbelts.
Troopers said alcohol and drugs were not factors in the crash.
