Two motorcyclists were killed in separate crashes in Pueblo over the weekend, according to police.
The first crash happened around 10 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of Fourth Street and Wilson Avenue. Police said the motorcyclist, 64-year-old Timothy Goodman, was headed westbound when he went off the road and hit a light pole. He died on the scene. Police said speed was likely a factor in the crash.
The second crash happened around 10:30 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of Cody Avenue and Norwood Avenue. Police said shortly before the crash, the motorcyclist, 47-year-old Christopher Lobato, had used his bare fists to punch out the windows of a home on Ogden Avenue. Officers followed a blood trail from the home to the spot where the motorcycle had been parked. Police said the blood loss likely contributed to the crash.
Police said alcohol is suspected to be a factor in both crashes. Neither motorcyclist was wearing a helmet.
