The passenger in the Jetta, who was also not wearing a seatbelt, also died on the scene. That person’s name has not yet been released.
The driver of the Jetta, an Indiana woman, sustained serious injuries. Troopers said she was not wearing her seatbelt.
Troopers said alcohol and speed may have been factors in the crash, which remains under investigation.
