Three carjacking suspects were arrested after crashing a car while leading officers on a chase down Interstate 25 in Pueblo Friday, according to police.
Police said the carjacking happened around 8:45 a.m. Friday on East 21st Street in Pueblo. Three teenagers took the victim’s car, a Pontiac Montana, at gunpoint, according to police.
Then, around 1:15 p.m., three people tried to rob someone at gunpoint on Ely Street in Colorado Springs. Police tried to stop the suspect car, a Pontiac Montana, but the driver refused to stop. Officers followed the car southbound on Interstate 25 for several miles. The driver lost control and crashed around exit 102 in Pueblo County. Three teens got out and were arrested.
