Thousands of people across southern Colorado are still without power Thursday after a blizzard knocked out trees and power lines across the region Wednesday.

Colorado Springs Utilities said around 3 p.m. Thursday that customers who are affected by the three larger outages in the area of Constitution Avenue, Circle Drive, and Academy Boulevard will likely have their service restored Thursday.

Customers affected by smaller outages may not have their power restored until Friday.
