COLORADO SPRINGS — With the ongoing threat of COVID-19, many families in the Pikes Peak Region celebrated Thanksgiving differently than in previous years.

Many said they decided to stay home and avoid large gatherings due to COVID-19, and some families said the turkey didn’t make it to their dinner table this year.
