Sexually violent predator moves to Ellicott area

Deputies are notifying the public about a sexually violent predator who recently moved to the Ellicott area. 

Mark Shaddock, 53, lives at 24830 Impala Circle, which is just south of Ellicott. 

Deputies said Shaddock was convicted of criminal sexual penetration and criminal sexual contact of a minor in Socorro County, New Mexico in 2010. 

Shaddock is described as a white man, about 6 feet tall and 200 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He drives a white 2011 Chevrolet Traverse SUV and a blue 2010 Dodge Ram 150 pickup. 

Sexually violent predators are considered the highest-risk sex offenders. Law enforcement is required to notify the public when a person who has been categorized as a sexually violent predator moves to a different address.

Shaddock is one of two sexually violent predators living in unincorporated El Paso County. There are 15 sexually violent predators living in Colorado Springs.
