A portion of Dublin Boulevard in northeastern Colorado Springs will be closed for construction for five days starting Monday.

The road will be closed in both directions between Templeton Gap Road and Oakwood Boulevard from 6 a.m. Monday until 6 p.m. Friday. Crews will be installing two concrete storm sewer pipes under the road.

Drivers will still be able to access all homes and businesses along the route.

The following detours will be in place:

  • Eastbound traffic will be detoured north or south at Austin Bluffs Parkway. Southbound traffic will turn east on Templeton Gap Road. Northbound traffic will turn east on Woodmen Road, then south on Powers Boulevard to Dublin.
  • Westbound traffic will be detoured south at Templeton Gap Road, then north on Austin Bluffs to Dublin.

This closure is the beginning of a project to widen Dublin west of Powers into two lanes in each direction. Drivers in the area should expect lane closures and other traffic impacts until the project is completed in October.
