Police are investigating a suspicious death at a southeastern Colorado Springs hotel.
Police said around 8:20 a.m., they were called to investigate a report of an unresponsive woman in a room at the WoodSpring Suites at Powers Boulevard and Airport Road. When paramedics arrived, they confirmed the woman had died.
Police said there was no visible cause or manner of death.
UPDATE (May 2, 2018): Police said they are still investigating the woman’s death, but they no longer consider it to be suspicious. The victim’s name will not be released.
