The Pikes Peak Market hopes to build community through food, art, and entertainment. The goal is to encourage healthy eating and an active lifestyle while also supporting local artisans.
One vendor at Sunday’s monthly pop-up market said her business started out of her two passions: baking and being a therapist. Laura Sigoloff started a local bakery called Sweet Treatment.
“It’s really a wonderful gathering place, not just opportunity for small businesses to promote their products and to grow, but also an opportunity for the community to come together,” Sigoloff said.
If you missed out this weekend, the next pop-up market is March 24 and 25 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
