Monument police looking for person who broke into home through garage door, stole credit cards

Police are looking for the person who broke into a Monument home through the garage door, then stole credit cards and used them at a nearby business. 

Police said the burglary happened early in the morning on May 2. The suspect entered the home through the garage door, according to police. The door of the home was found open, and there was evidence someone had entered the homeowners’ cars, according to police. 

The suspect took credit cards and used them around 2:20 a.m. at the 7-Eleven on West Baptist Road, according to police. 

The suspect is described as a thin white male between 16 and 25 years old, with light brown hair. He was wearing a grey hoodie, ripped slim-fitting jeans, and white tennis shoes.
