A bomb threat reported at a Colorado Springs school Friday turned out to be unfounded, according to police.

Police said Friday morning, they got a Safe2Tell tip about a possible bomb threat to Colorado Springs Early Colleges off Garden of the Gods Road. Police evacuated and searched the school, but didn’t find anything suspicious.

Police found the student at home and asked him about the threat. They determined he had not made a threat, and his online posting had been misinterpreted. No charges were filed.
