A man was found dead in the Arkansas River in Pueblo Tuesday morning, according to police.
Police said construction workers who were working on the Pueblo Convention Center expansion found the man’s body and called police around 9 a.m. Officers recovered the body near Richmond Avenue.
Firefighters and officers tentatively identified the body as that of a homeless man who frequented the area.
An autopsy will determine how he died. Police said there were no indications of foul play.
