Lightning-caused wildfire in Phantom Canyon area fully contained

The Natty Fire burning in the Phantom Canyon area of Fremont County is fully contained as of Sunday night. 

The fire started Friday afternoon on Bureau of Land Management land on Cooper Mountain, which is about 20 miles north of Cañon City. It burned about 79 acres. No structures were destroyed. 

The BLM will continue to monitor the area over the next few days until the fire is fully extinguished. 

The BLM said the fire was caused by lightning.
