Lemonade maker Country Time is promising to pay fines and permit fees for kids’ lemonade stands this summer.

The promotion, called Legal-Ade, covers fines incurred in 2017 or 2018 and permit fees for 2018. Fees of up to $300 will be covered. The money is available for lemonade stands run by kids 14 and under.

The promotion ends on August 31 or when the company has paid out $60,000, whichever comes first.

A Denver family made news earlier this week when their lemonade stand was shut down for not having a permit

“Life doesn’t always give you lemons, but when it does, you should be able to make and share lemonade with the neighborhood without legal implications,” the company said on their website.
