Power restored after outage in southwestern Colorado Springs


COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Power has been restored to hundreds of people in southwestern Colorado Springs after an outage Tuesday morning.

Colorado Springs Utilities said the outage began around 6:30 a.m. It affected about 2,400 customers in the area of Bear Creek Park. Power was restored to all customers by 7:30 a.m.

The utility said the outage was caused by an equipment failure.
