HSPPR featured national television series

The Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region and its sister shelter Pueblo Animal Services are being featured in a national television series called “Rocky Mountain Animal Rescue.”

According to Animal Law Enforcement, the six-episode series will feature several things like animal rescues, medical emergencies, and adoption stories.

“I never thought that one I’d be a part of it or that it would be so close to home,” said Katharine Waters, Animal Law Enforcement officer.

Filming for the show ran from May to June of 2017, It premiers Saturday, Mar. 4 at 8 p.m. Nat Geo WILD.
