Forest Service hiring 900 temporary employees for 2019 field season

The U.S. Forest Service is hiring 900 temporary employees for jobs in Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, and Wyoming. 

The jobs are for the 2019 field season. They’re available in a variety of fields, including fire, trails, forestry, engineering, wildlife, recreation, fisheries, archeology, and administrative support. 

Applications for wildland fire jobs and other early season temporary jobs will be accepted from September 19 to October 18.

Applications for recreation, fisheries, forestry, engineering, and other jobs will be accepted from September 19 to October 2.
