PUEBLO, Colo. — A man was hit and killed by a semi-truck after he was involved in another crash on Interstate 25 north of Pueblo Monday morning, according to the Colorado State Patrol.
Troopers said around 4:30 a.m., there was a three-car crash on northbound Interstate 25 near mile marker 106. One of the people involved in the crash got out of his car, crossed the center median, and went into the southbound lanes, where he was hit by a semi, according to troopers.
The man died on the scene. He has been identified as Jared Licon, 23, of Pueblo.
Troopers said neither the semi-truck driver nor the victim was suspected to be under the influence of alcohol.
