A Falcon man was killed in a single-car crash in El Paso County early Sunday morning, according to the Colorado State Patrol.
Troopers said the crash happened just after midnight on Rio Lane just north of Peyton Highway. A 2000 Buick LeSabre was headed southbound when it went off the road. The driver overcorrected, and the car went off the other side of the road and rolled several times.
Troopers said the driver, a 27-year-old man from Falcon, was ejected and died on the scene. Troopers said he was not wearing his seatbelt.
Troopers said alcohol or drug use appears to be a factor in the crash, which remains under investigation.
