A Denver-based breakfast restaurant is opening a location in Colorado Springs next week.
Snooze an A.M. Eatery is opening Wednesday at 7587 N. Academy Boulevard, just south of Whole Foods and the Chapel Hills Mall.
“We’re really known for our creative twists on breakfast, so we take some of your classics like biscuits and gravy, we do breakfast pot pie, so we feature a puff pastry shell topped with rosemary sausage and then it features hash browns on the side,” general manager Chris Xavier said.
This is Snooze’s 36th location. The restaurant originated in Denver in 2006 and now has locations in Texas, Arizona, and California.
“We look at joining communities here at Snooze rather than opening a business, so we picked this spot because it’s close to the Air Force Academy and we know that there’s a huge military presence here in the Colorado Springs community and we wanted to be a part of that,” Xavier said.
Snooze is having a big grand opening on Wednesday. The first 50 guests will receive a commemorative Snooze canteen.
