Colorado Springs brewery hosting fundraiser for Angels of America’s Fallen

Thursday, Red Leg Brewing Company is hosting a Boards and Beers fundraising event to benefit Angels of America’s Fallen.

They’re raising money toward a $15,000 goal, which would support 10 kids for a year.

You’ll be able to test out your art skills by designing your own decorative board, while enjoying delicious beers in support of the nonprofit, which supports the children of America’s fallen military and first responders.

“You wouldn’t normally think arts and crafts and beer,” Red Leg owner and founder Todd Baldwin said. “Maybe like beer from a crafty standpoint. But really bringing a lot of that together in a spot where you can put all those things together and then also give back to our community and a great organization like Angels of America’s Fallen. Just to be the catalyst or the cog in that wheel to make that happen is really exciting, and for us, we’re just humbled to be just a small part of it, to help out.”

The event is Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the brewery at 4630 Forge Road in western Colorado Springs. Tickets are $60 and include supplies, a pint, taxes and fees, and a donation to Angels of America’s Fallen.
