Cave of the Winds rocks the holiday season with its winter lights

MANITOU SPRINGS, Colo. - Cave of the Winds has transformed itself into a winter wonderland this year by adding a quarter of a million lights to the park.

It's all part of the park's Mountain Illumination Festival, a first since the caves first opened in 1881.

"Cave of the Winds has been a mainstay in Colorado and we believe in community and we want to be more of a local destination for locals, we are already a global destination but we want people who have Cave of the Winds in their backyard to come out," said Trip Uhalt with Cave of the Winds.

Starting now until January 5, you and your family can enjoy this winter wonderland. The cost is $25 for cars up to 10 people/$30 for vans with over 10 people Tour buses or RVs are not allowed.
