A car caught fire on the shoulder of Interstate 25 Saturday afternoon shortly after 3 p.m.
Cpl. Ivan Alvarado with Colorado State Patrol said they got a report that a 1999 Honda Accord was on fire on the shoulder of the northbound lanes between Pikes Peak International Raceway and Clear Spring Ranch.
The shoulder was blocked until about 4:45 p.m. Many stuck in traffic could see the smoke as they approached the car.
No one was hurt, and troopers don’t believe any other cars were involved.
