(COLORADO SPRINGS) — CSPD said the homicide unit is investigating after a body was found off of South Union Boulevard and the MLK Bypass, near Evergreen Cemetery.

CSPD said officers responded to the area just after 3 a.m. after a call was received regarding a possible dead body. Officers found a man dead when they arrived on scene, and said the Homicide and Assault Unit was investigating “based on the obvious trauma and external injuries.”

The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) is conducting a death investigation after a body was found on Monday, Nov. 7 near Evergreen Cemetery.

According to CSPD, the body was found at a homeless camp.
