Angels Against Alzheimer’s is hosting a masquerade fundraising ball to help fight the disease.
The event, Masked Until Midnight, features a casino night and fundraising games. It’s happening Saturday at 8 p.m. at The Pinery at the Hill.
The money raised will go toward research and help local Alzheimer’s patients.
Last year, they donated $5,000 to the UCCS Aging Center.
“They do a lot of research,” Angels Against Alzheimer’s president Gina Kaiser said. “They help local Alzheimer’s patients and their families with getting a baseline of where your brain is for Alzheimer’s, where your family is, helping caregivers understand the disease. Things that you don’t know until you have to go through it.”
