Giving back to the community is a goal of the Allstate Foundation.

“Since 1952, Allstate Foundation has been basically bringing the good to the community,” Cally O’Donnell, President Colorado Insurance and Financial Specialist said.

Allstate raised more than $13,000 for the Boys and Girls Club of the Pikes Peak Region back in April.

Volunteers also helped the club re-vamp their teen room.

“The work was completely done by Allstate, agents and financial specialists as well as a few of our staff members and even some spouses.”

However, to the Boys and Girls Club, the room is more than just a space, it’s place were teens can grow.

“Our teens have a really awesome place they helped design to come after school from some of the high schools around,” said Zachary Ferlise, Assistant Director of Operations.

The multi-state volunteer effort back in April raised $189,000 benefiting 15 Boys & Girls Clubs nationwide.
