COLORADO SPRINGS — As power outages remain an issue across southern Colorado, some schools have decided to cancel classes and/or switch to remote learning-only for Friday, Dec. 17.
The following is a working list of schools that have decided to close or switch to remote-learning only:
- Manitou Springs School: no in-person learning for students (full message to parents and students here)
- Woodland Park School District RE-2: Closed
- Tesla Equal Opportunity School, Monroe Elementary, North Middle School, Taylor Elementary, and Jackson Elementary: Closed
- Big Sandy SD: Closed
