An Air Force Academy cadet who underwent an Article 32 hearing in July is now facing more sexual assault accusations, according to the Academy.

Cadet Second Class Armis Sunday was previously charged with one specification of sexual assault. He underwent an Article 32 hearing in July for that charge. Arraignment was scheduled for October 9, with the trial scheduled to begin in January. However, between then and now, new allegations came to light, so another Article 32 hearing was scheduled for Tuesday.

Sunday is now accused of sexual assault of an alleged victim who was incapable of consenting due to impairment by alcohol, and two specifications of wrongfully photographing and distributing a photograph of someone else’s private area.

An Article 32 hearing is similar to a civilian grand jury proceeding. It is used to determine if probable cause exists to support the charges.
