Colorado Springs workers will pave 224 lane miles of roadway this year using funds raised by ballot measure 2C, city officials said Tuesday.
Voters approved 2C in November 2015. It established a .62 percent sales tax dedicated solely to roadway infrastructure repairs.
City officials said 471 lane miles have been paved using 2C funds in the past two years. This year, crews will pave about 224 lane miles. The work started in mid-April.
