CHICAGO, Ill. — A flurry of goodwill poured in online after a picture of an elderly man trying to earn some money went viral on Facebook.

The pictures taken in Chicago show the man, 89-year-old Fidencio Sanchez, struggling to push his popsicle cart down the street.

We’re told Fidencio and his wife recently lost their only daughter.

When his wife also got sick, he decided to take over her popsicle cart to make some money.

After snapping the photo, a man says he bought 20 popsicles for $50, later creating a GoFundMe page to help the family.

In just three days, nearly 10,000 people have donated over $200,000.>> Visit the GoFundMe page here.
