(CUSTER COUNTY, Colo.) — The Custer County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) said the highway intersection is clear, Sunday afternoon.

CCSO said the cause of the crash was wind that blew the rider and motorcycle off the road into a fence.

The Wetmore fire agency directed traffic through a one-lane area while Flight for Life was on scene.

CCSO said the intersection of Highway 96 and Highway 67 in Wetmore is closed due to a motorcycle crash Sunday afternoon on April 2.

Custer County emergency crews and Flight for Life are “en route to a motorcycle down,” at HWY 96 and HWY 67 in Wetmore.

The public is asked to avoid the area.
