Homeless woman beaten, raped for three days in Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Recently unsealed court documents revealed a homeless woman was beaten and repeatedly raped for three days, unable to escape her attacker after she became paralyzed when he threw her off a bridge.

A passerby found the woman under the Cimarron Street Bridge. Court records show that her spine was fractured and her spinal cord injured.

A 21-year-old homeless man is currently being held at the El Paso County Jail on charges of attempted murder and sexual assault in the case.
