High-risk training with Pueblo Police highlights quick decision making

PUEBLO, Colo. – Pueblo police are taking a more realistic approach when it comes to training their officers.

Almost half of the training they do is — what they call — reality-based training.

Instead of learning in a classroom setting they learn by doing.
This gets officers accustomed to stress in a controlled environment.
